MicroMasters® at the University of Edinburgh

An introduction to the resources available to support your learning

Library Services Update

This Library Services page will be kept up to date with information about access to the library collections, online access to teaching resources and how to get further help.

Introduction

Use the menu to the left for more information about the following topics: 

  • Study skills: Some resources for developing the skills you're likely to need for your course
  • Finding resources: How you can use Library and online resources to help with activities and assignments
  • Evaluating information: Guidance around how to evaluate different kinds of resources
  • Managing your information: Some methods and tools to manage your reading, references, data and other resources

MicroMasters learners completing taught courses will only be able to access open resources. MicroMasters students completing the Final Project will be provided with a University login and have access to all resources.

Visiting University of Edinburgh Libraries

All learners and students (whether matriculated or unmatriculated) are able to use the University of Edinburgh's library search tool DiscoverEd to find resources for their studies. Watch this video to find out how to search DiscoverEd and use other online tools to find resources.
