Resource List Service

Resource Lists are online reading lists. Resource Lists provide students with easy access to key reading materials including e-books and copyright-compliant digitisations. Resource Lists are the preferred route for Course Organisers to request items for teaching

Information for Course Organisers

Resource List deadlines for 2024/25:

  • Semester 1: Monday 1 July 2024
  • Semester 2 : Monday 21 October 2024

Update your Resource Lists and send them to the Library to review or to be set up by the deadlines above to ensure materials for teaching are available to students for the start of each semester.

We encourage Course Organisers to send their lists for review, even when no changes are required, to allow us to check links work as expected and available online content is added. You can send a list for review by clicking 'My list is ready' at the top of your Resource List or by selecting 'Send list to library' from the list menu.

To send a new list or updates to a list, use our online form:

The Library will only check for e-book availability, purchase new items, provide copyright-compliant scans or check links are working as expected if you send your Resource List to us.

Resource Lists can be sent to the Library after the deadlines have passed and to request digitisations and new materials for teaching throughout the year.

Resource Lists Framework

The Resource Lists Framework summarises the service you can expect from the Library and outlines good practice.

The Resource List Framework has been developed by Library & University Collections in consultation with, and is supported by, Learning and Teaching Committee, Library Committee and the Vice Presidents of Education and Activities & Services from the Students’ Association.
