Resources on academic writing
The style of writing for academic work will be different from the styles you use in everyday, and possibly will be quite different to the style of writing you have experience of in your first years of the MBChB. You might find you have to write essays, or persuasive arguments. And conventions change between different subject areas.
Academic writing is formal, draws on source materials, shows awareness of complexities and nuances, and follows a set structure for the type of assignment and a particular style for the subject discipline.
